Four Companies, One Family
Eagle Printing, Nobius Press, School Service, and Accurate Stamp each began in its own place, with its own specialty and its own regulars. Today Eagle, School Service, and Accurate Stamp work side by side under one roof in New Berlin, Nobius keeps serving its hometown from Burlington, and all four share a crew and one standard for how a job should be done.
They came together with Eagle over the last two years, not to flatten four shops into a single brand, but to give each one the backing of the others while it keeps doing the thing it has always done well. Our staff is cross trained and moves between all four companies, so the same people and the same presses stand behind your order no matter which name is on the invoice.
Eagle Printing: Commercial Printing and Full Service Mailing
Eagle is the commercial printer in the family, and its New Berlin building is home base for School Service and Accurate Stamp as well. For more than 33 years, businesses across Southeast Wisconsin have handed Eagle everything from a rough idea to a finished file and gotten back postcards, posters, brochures, banners, and just about anything else that runs through a press, with in house designers who check it over before it hits the paper.
What sets Eagle apart is what happens after the ink dries. It is a full service mailing house, so a direct mail piece is designed, printed, addressed, sorted, and dropped at the post office by one team. No second vendor, no handoffs, no wondering where your job went.
Bill Johnson, Amanda Johnson's father, started Eagle Printing & Graphics in New Berlin in 1993. Amanda grew the business by purchasing Printcraft from John Bartholomay in 2017 and Digital Edge New Berlin in 2018, continuing to serve both sets of clients as Eagle Printing. That same year, Eagle moved from National Avenue to its current home on Calhoun Road.
Nobius Press: Burlington's Local Print Shop
Nobius is the hometown shop, the one Burlington businesses, churches, non profits, and community groups walk into when something needs to be printed and needs to be right. Business cards, flyers, envelopes, newsletters, booklets, carbonless forms, yard signs, and large format prints all come out of the shop, and the design team is glad to jump in when a project is still just an idea. Need envelopes addressed straight from your list? Nobius handles variable data printing and mailing too. You get quick turnaround, fair pricing, and someone who actually picks up the phone.
Sandy Wagner opened Nobius in November 2005 as a locally owned digital print shop built around high quality short run work, from invitations to catalogs, for individuals and small businesses. Graphic design, digital color printing, black and white copying, variable data publishing, laminating, and creative binding have been part of the shop from day one. When Amanda purchased Nobius in February 2025, she kept what made it special and added the muscle of the family behind it, so the same shop can now take on larger runs and full service direct mail.
School Service: Forms and Supplies Shipped Nationwide
School Service is the national name in the family, and it has been providing educators with school forms and products since 1923. Hall passes, carbonless forms, book forms, visitor badges, and custom printed forms ship from Wisconsin to schools and organizations in all 50 states, and have for generations. Hundreds of ready made designs can ship the same day, and when the form a school needs does not exist yet, School Service can create it.
As far as we know, The School Service Company was started in 1923 by a Chicago principal who knew firsthand what schools actually needed. For years it was owned by the Bruecks family, and in the early days all printing was outsourced. That changed in 1998, when Mark Bruecks moved the business to Union Grove, Wisconsin, and brought printing in house. In 2004, Gary Dobson purchased the business and renamed it School Service, Inc. He had worked for Deluxe Check Printers and already operated the same equipment used to print school forms. The company moved to New Berlin in 2011, and by 2012 every job had gone fully digital, retiring offset printing for good in favor of print to press production.
In April 2026, Amanda purchased School Service and moved it into the Eagle building, where the work has carried on without missing a day.
Accurate Stamp: Custom Rubber Stamps
Accurate Stamp makes the rubber stamp sitting on your front desk, and it takes that job seriously. A good rubber stamp should leave the same clean mark on the thousandth impression as it did on the first. The company makes custom rubber stamps, self inking stamps, and date stamps for offices, shops, and anyone who needs a crisp, consistent impression. Its team works with busy banks, schools, and small businesses every day, so they know what a counter customer really needs. Send the wording and they will get it right.
Accurate Stamp began as a small local marking device company serving area banks and organizations. School Service acquired it in 2010, and the two have worked side by side ever since. In April 2026 it joined Amanda's ownership alongside School Service and moved into the New Berlin building with Eagle.
