Padded Forms

After 100 years, School Service is making a change to our 3” x 5” forms.

We have determined that the form size of 3-1/2” x 4-1/4” is a more efficient and economical size.  The “6-per-page” size reduces waste and production time.  This allows us to keep costs down and limit price increases to the customer.  The size fits well with the page layout of 8-1/2” x 11” and 11” x 17”.

In 2023, most of the padded forms will be converted to the new size.  As we reduce our current inventory of each form, we will eventually have these forms switched over to the new size.  We also will convert any 3” x 5” 2-part carbonless forms to the new size.

Some 3” x 5” forms that will not be changed:

• Emergency Information Cards
• Any Index Card Products
• Discounted Forms
• Book Forms
• Custom Forms

We will not mix the different sizes of a form in an order.  Either the size for that form will be 3” x 5” or 3-1/2” x 4-1/4”.  Once the inventory of the 3” x 5” form is used up, the customers will start to receive the new size.

What if you really want the 3” x 5” form size.  We will continue to offer that size, but the form will be considered a customized form, resulting in a higher price.  Once, the 3” x 5” form is gone, it will no longer be available on the website.  However, you can contact us at info@SchoolService.com to request availability and pricing.

As we celebrate 100 years of working with our wonderful customers, we appreciate your understanding of this necessary change.   The cost of paper has skyrocketed, and availability has been limited as more paper mills shutter their operations.  We do not anticipate the cost of paper to be come down.  In fact, we expect prices to continue to rise.  We will do our best to not pass these increases on to you in the future, but as you have seen recently, prices are increasing everywhere.
